Yes, you read right. I am considering to open a new account on Deviantart and have a "fresh" start all over. This thought has been on my mind for some time now and I think it's the best resolution for everyone.
First of all I can't stand my old name anymore since there are so many negative things attached to it (and the account)... mind you it's mentality based but I get reminded of it every day. I want to have a blank canvas to start from and I would like to build a new "online profile" on my new account... I mean I pretty much screwed this one up and most of you know what I am talking about.

Does anything keep me from doing this? Not really. I will leave my Daily Deviation and maybe my Copic Marker tutorial, but that's about it what keeps me using the "old" account. I am even willing to repost most of my stuff again and people who are genuinely interested in my art wouldn't mind watching me on the new one, right? ^_~

So these are my thoughts about it. I think it would make me happier and in return you too.

There will be enough time for the change, don't worry about that!

I apologise to all the new watchers for this inconvenience but that's something I have to do. You are very welcome at the new account though! ^___~

Also, I will gradually transfer my artwork to the new account; be assured that I won't delete anything over night.

Hi peeps and sorry for the long wait for a journal update but I was quite occupied in the last week.

...it's a little announcement of why I haven't uploaded any of the promised artwork yet...


I was finally able to see my GP today (after my hospital visit last Thursday) and it looks like I got some form of RSI (repetitive strain injury), which some people already suggested. This means that I have to take care of my right arm; no pushing or lifting heavy objects and things like that. I will let my arm rest for a bit but I hope to be able to draw something next week again. I also got some medicine prescribed since Neurofen didn't seem to work at all last week.
For the next two weeks I have to be cautious and if the symptoms still exist, it means physiotherapy for me. ^^° It might sound a bit frightening but if this isn't treated correctly, it could appear again and again. So it's better to sort it out right now.

I thought I should let you know.

Bristol Comic Expo (9th-11th May)... which means my B-day is very soon! °-°

Now I am properly back from the Expo in Bristol and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It was the first time for me and I met many lovely people; "old" and new ones. The atmosphere there was really nice, relaxed and more grown up rather than having the screaming kids like those from the London Expo. Well, there was a bunch but they must have been executed by the stormtroopers in the end. For some reason I start to see those stormtroopers everywhere, not just in London anymore...
Anyways, I took the opportunity to show my portfolio around and I got really good feedback. Thanks to everyone who looked at it! Even Misako Takashima (Misako Rocks!) had a peek and liked it. X3~ She was such a lovely person to talk to. I am also glad to have gotten a signed version of Poison Candy (Tokyopop) from David Hine (writer); yet another nice person to talk to. I think the list goes on...

All in all I would encourage anyone to go to the Bristol Comic Expo. It's a good place to meet like-minded people and to make new contacts besides seeing old faces. ^^

I got a livejournal thanks to (her pep talk works wonders) and I intend to use it which has several reasons. Thanks once again for the suggestion! I guess you'll find all sorts of verbal vomit in the future on here but don't expect something every single day. ...stop by if you want to know more about me. ^_~
